THE BARKERY

A bold concept brand for a healthy pet treat company.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Barkery is a healthy pet treat brand built for modern pet owners who read the label and want better for their dogs. The work needed to do two things at once: feel genuinely fun, and still signal that the product is clean, vet-approved, and worth paying more for.

So the brand leads with personality. Tongue-in-cheek product names like Moo Moo Stew and Bite Me Biscuits, custom illustrations, bold packaging, and a full identity system that carries across cans, boxes, toys, posters, and digital. Underneath the humour sits a clear strategy: stand out in a category full of safe, samey pet brands, and make the quality impossible to miss.

I built this as a brand mentorship project with a design student in New York, teaching the full process of building a strategic brand from the ground up. The thinking, the strategy, and the creative direction are mine.

THE RANGE

I work across personal brands, service businesses, and product brands like this one. Strategy comes first every time. The category and the personality change, the depth of thinking doesn't.

Want a brand with this much thought behind it?
